Valuation Process

A complete valuation takes around 3 to 5 weeks. A quick overview and description of the entire valuation process can be found below.

First, all details regarding the process of creating a Valuation Report are discussed. The company’s business plan is examined to establish a first impression of the business. This document, as well as various external information and our own research, are the basis for the following procedure.

The meeting usually includes 2 specialists from Venture Valuation and the appropriate members of the company’s management team. The meeting normally starts with a short presentation by the company's management and a discussion of the crucial factors regarding the valuation. During this time we can also give support for strategic decisions using the value based management approach. Depending on the company, as well as the available documents, this meeting takes from half a day to two days.

Finally, the Valuation Report is written based on all accumulated information. External data such as market, customer and supplier information is also considered. As experience shows, the writing of a Valuation Report is an interactive procedure between us and the management team therefore; continuous contact and information exchange is maintained with the management.

After the Valuation Report is completed the results are presented and the required number of hard copies delivered.
