Company Valuation
Our comprehensive Valuation Reports contain a detailed assessment of the value drivers of the company. As specialists in the valuation of companies, we provide reports of 15 – 30 pages including:

Product Valuation
We provide detailed Product Valuations based on an assessment of therapeutics currently in development (sciences/technology and market environment). We carry out a detailed calculation of the risk adjusted net present value for the licensee and licensor. This can then serve as a basis for negotiations or to structure different deal scenarios (front-loaded, milestone based or back loaded). The product valuations include:
- Industry standard rNPV valuation methodology based on indication-specific attrition rates and the clinical development stage.
- Scenario and sensitivity analyses plus Monte Carlo simulations.
- An analysis of the current value and forecasts of the future value following the successful completion of key development milestones.
Life Sciences Database
In 2004, based on the requirement to have access to accurate and up-to-date industry intelligence, Venture Valuation implemented the Swiss Life Sciences Database. Information in this database, and subsequently created country portals, is encompassed in Biotechgate, the comprehensive, global Life Sciences Database.
Using a bottom-up approach and partnering with local companies, Venture Valuation catalogues and categorizes Life Sciences firms including Biotech, Pharma and Medtech companies, as well as associated suppliers, consultancies, investors, and non-profit organizations. Company profiles contain contact information, descriptions, details of products and/or services, and information regarding finance and management. Currently the database contains over 10 000 company profiles, and more than 20 country portals are available, such as:

This state-of-the-art software allows efficient arrangement of one-to-one meetings at international life sciences conferences enabling attendees to exploit their time more effectively. This compatibility also contributes to the maintaining of up-to-date information in Biotechgate.
